Idioms in context
You'll come across idioms all the time.
Whether you’re watching films, binging a series, or talking to native speakers, they’re everywhere — and the more familiar you become with them, the more clearly you see how the language really works.
They don’t just broaden your vocabulary: they make your English more natural, more vivid, and more nuanced.
But here's the thing: idioms don’t all age in the same way. Some are timeless, others fade, and new ones keep popping up. The language is constantly evolving, especially in headlines and TV scripts, while still holding on to expressions rooted in literature, history, and older cultural references.
